Lawn suits

I had often heard about Pakistani lawn suits– about the soft feel of the lawn cloth especially in the summer and the range of designs they come in. So, there I went a few days back for my first lawn suit shopping to the old Sharjah Cinema area. And like I had heard I was spoilt for choice as lanes of stores stock lawn suits in all hues here. They come with designer labels with cotton or chiffon duppatas. After and a lot of walking in and out of stores I bought this.

Hi! Nice blog Tessy, came over from Colours Dekor… How much should you expect to pay for this material? Any bargaining? And lastly, can you please give me directions to this lawn suits market? Thanks!

HI Annie, welcome to middleeastmasala, these suits can be found in a range of prices, starting from even AED 50 to 300 or more. Yes, there is a fair bit of bargaining in Sharjah shops if you are buying more than one :). The market in Sharjah is behind the old Sharjah Cinema, the taxi drivers call it the Zam Zam market. There are many shops selling lawn suits, just look around. Enjoy your shopping spree.
